Eid-el-Fitr: NSCDC Niger Command Deploys 1,945 personnel for celebration

The Niger State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) in its efforts to provide adequate security and safeguard Critical National Assets and Infrastructure during the festive period, deployed 1,945 personnel to ensure a hitch-free Eid-el-Fitr celebration in Niger State.
This was contained in a press statement issued by the Command through its spokesperson,DSC Abubakar Rabiu Muti, and made available to newsmen in Minna on Thursday.
The deployed personnel, according to Muti, will work to ensure that the celebration is peaceful and incident-free.

He explained that the State Commandant, Adamu Abdullahi Kambra fcai, fiifs, has instructed Area Commanders and Divisional Officers to supervise and guarantee the protection of Critical National Assets and Infrastructure.
Abdullahi Kambra stated that the deployment of 1,600 personnel was to ensure adequate security coverage throughout the state and that the NSCDC will collaborate and work with other sister security agencies to ensure a seamless and secure celebration.
The Commandant added that in terms of vigilance, the public is encouraged to report any suspicious movement or activities to the security agencies.
According to the NSCDC Spokesman, Niger State Command wishes to assure the public of its commitment to providing top-notch security services during the Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
The State Commandant Kambra also appreciated the continued support of the Commandant General NSCDC, Ahmed Abubakar Audi and the Governor of Niger State, Governor Umar Mohammed Bago, for their unwavering support to the Corps.
The State Commandant, while assuring the public, expressed confidence that the deployment of 1,945 personnel will ensure a safe and enjoyable celebration for all.
