Economic downturn: ‘ Our leaders should see where they went wrong and fix Nigeria’s problem – Kwankwaso

The Presidential Candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Democratic, NNPP, in the last 2023 General Elections and former governor of Kano state, Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has tasked Nigerian leaders to see where they went wrong and the fix the challenges facing the country.
Kwankwaso made this known while speaking with newsmen at the presentation and Launching of the Book titled: ” Court and Politics, authored by Umar Ardo and held in Abuja.
The NNPP Presidential Candidate, who was represented by a Chieftain of the Party, Mr. Asiwaju Moshood Shittu, however called on Nigerian leaders to go back to the drawing board to identify the problems and the mistakes and then fix the country.
According to him: ” I’ll be touring along way like other prominent speakers who are suggesting that the leadership of this great country should go back to the drawing board to see where we went wrong thereby fixing this country.
“It is a memorable day for me to be part of this occasion, since the gathering is about providing solutions to our problems, where we have been coming from, where we are, the way forward for this country, with true dividends of democracy.
“We should go back and rethink, especially talking about the court and politics it is individuals that are holding this offices and entrusted to represent their people. So how are they representing our people in their activities?” He said.
Shittu is optimistic that the country will surely get it right and suggested that the topic will raise more discussion for wider knowledge to improve the activities of court and politics towards achieving a better Nigeria.
