“I want to encourage the youths, you know it is not easy to have a government that listens to the people because our governor’s, leadership is people driven and the vision the people’s charter of need is not something you can see anywhere.

” So, I want to encourage you to use every available resources that is given to them every opportunity that is given to them to build capacity and make our leaders proud because that’s the only way we can get better.

“if it is just one or two persons who are doing well, the state cannot progress. The state will only progress when we have so many persons who are doing well.

“I want to encourage the young people to see how they can get inspired by the recent developments happening in the state and encouragement from our dear leader the governor, and see how they can do better

“I wouldn’t say that I am disappointed in the youth because for the people I know they are doing very well but I still know to a large extent thare are still people who roaming the streets believing that money will just fall from heaven one day.

“So, to people like that, I would rather encourage them to understand that hard work pays and as a young person, it is at this stage that you can invest in yourself by building capacity so that when the opportunity comes you know you’ll be able to embrace it.

“Opportunity comes every day that’s the truth but not everybody is prepared to embrace it so those who are prepared they say they are lucky but those who are not prepared will be regretting and saying all sorts of things that the government is not trying.

“so I’m just charging the youth to prepare from where they are to start from that place and I believe that tomorrow will be better for them”, he said.

He commended rapid development in the state since its creation.

“I’m so excited you know to celebrate, especially our dear state at 29 years. we know how the struggles have been in the last twenty nine years but God has been faithful and we have also seen a significant development in our state.

‘I remember those days in primary school when we go to school, you come back with your leg full of red dust but these days when you go back, if you trek, you come back with white dust that is the development and we know that basic infrastructure, so many infrastructure so to say.

“And the improvement in our education system is something we can be very grateful for and thank God for.
