‘Do not abandon Anambra Int’l Cargo Airport, other legacy projects, -Ex-gov Obiano begs Soludo

The former Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State has urged governor, Charles Soludo not to abandon the International Cargo and Passenger Airport, Umueri, and other legacy projects in the state.
Obiano made this known through in a statement signed and issued to newsmen by his Chief Publicist, Tony Nezianya on Friday.
He felicitated with the incumbent governor, Charles Soludo as he marked his two years in office.
Obiano expressed satisfaction with Gov. Soludo’s infrastructural development of the state especially on road construction, education, and healthcare, and urged him not to relent in his efforts to move the state forward.
The former governor, Obiano appealed to Soludo to address the excesses of some government officials in the execution of their duties.
He emphasized the importance of responsible governance and encouraged Gov. Soludo to ensure that all officials uphold these principles in their work.
Chief Obiano requested Soludo’s attention to several legacy projects left behind by his administration, particularly the Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport, Umueri.
”There is a significant infrastructure, and its proper maintenance will provide economic opportunities and improved transportation for Ndi Anambra.
”Do not abandon these projects but continue their maintenance and development in order to benefit the people of Anambra.
”I wish you success in your remaining two years of your first term and accept my best regards,” Obiano stated.
