Devastating flood: Minister of livestock dev. sympathizes Adamawa govt

The Minister of Livestock Development, Idi Mukhtar Maiha, has extended his heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Adamawa State following the recent devastating flood that claimed 29 lives, submerged farmlands, and destroyed homes.
As a native son of the state, Minister Maiha personally handed over a condolence letter on behalf of his ministry, expressing solidarity with the affected communities.

The Minister also presented relief materials to victims of the flood, emphasizing that his ministry stands with the state in this moment of grief.
He prayed for the souls of the departed and for the healing of those injured, as well as for the restoration of property and livelihoods of those affected.
Minister Maiha commended the proactive measures taken by the state government in tackling the flood but urged governments to come up with remedies to put a stop to the perennial flood that occurs yearly.
He emphasized the need for sustainable solutions to mitigate the impact of future floods.
The state Deputy Governor, Kaletapha Farauta, applauded the Minister and his entourage for identifying with the people of Adamawa, describing them as family members.
She appreciated the resilience of the people in the face of the disaster and reiterated the government’s commitment to providing relief support to those affected.
