The commissioner who spoke with Journalists in company of the new General Manager of the newspaper corporation, Miss  Keyu Edet, said, “As at last month, we have been able to increase our internally generated revenue (IGR), to N6.3bn for last month which to me is a little bid huge as compared to the past where it used be less than this amount”.

“This is coming from the Cross River Broadcasting Corporation CRBC, Cross River State Signage and Advertisement Agency CRISSAA among others.

“That is what the state has been able to make. We are doing our best. The Internal Revenue Service IRS chairman told me the people now go to the IRS voluntarily to pay their taxes without being pursued by government officials.

On the revival of the Cross River State newspaper Corporation (Chronicles) which was vandalized during the #EndSARS protesters, the commissioner stated that printing equipment worth over N200m had been given approval to boost its operations.
