From: Ajiya Ayuba, Bauchi
The Governor of Bauchi State senator, Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir at the weekend has urged clergymen to pray more for Nigeria and it’s leaders to have fear of God, and to overcome economic challenges.
He equally donated a bus to one, Salihu Abdullahi who returned a huge lost bag of money to the owner in the state.
The Nations News Nigeria reports that the bus was donated to him by the governor to startup business and to encourage other young people to be honest and act the way Abdullahi has done.
Senator Abdulkadir made this known during a special preaching at Gwallaga Jumu’at Mosque organized by Jama’atu Izalatul Bid’a wa Iqamatus Sunnah in Bauchi.
According to the governor, “I must also commend Salisu Abdulhadi, who showed great honesty by returning a lost bag of money belonging to one of the attendees at the event”
He also promised to help religious teachers spread Islamic knowledge because it helps to keep the country peaceful and prosperous.
The governor, Abdulkadir also charged them to engage in prayers for the good of Nigeria and for the leaders to have the fear of God, as they lead the country out of the myriad of challenges militating against progress.
The governor said that his administration will continue to support all religious groups for continuous development, and that the preaching session came at a time when Nigeria needed Allah’s intervention, given the current economic challenges.
