Bogoro deputy chairman, Andrew tasks Muslims to sacrifice for the peace of Nigeria

The deputy chairman of Bogoro local government area of Bauchi State, Timothy Andrew has tasked Muslims in Nigeria to sacrifice for the peace of the country, especially in Bogoro, Bauchi State.

Andrew, who made this known in a statement signed and issued to newsmen in Bauchi, to mark this year’s Eid-el-Kabir, said that the celebration provides a special opportunity for Muslims to reflect on their faith.

He tasked Muslims in the country, especially in Bogoro local government area of Bauchi state to reach out to the less privileged people.

Andrew noted further that the festivity provides a special opportunity for Muslims to reflect on their faith and also reach out to people of other faiths.

He however called on Muslims to imbibe the life of sacrifice, passion and compassion as exemplified through the sacrifice of Mohammed.

He prayed for peace, harmony, and God’s blessings upon Nigerians and also, God’s guidance and direction for the leaders of the country.

The deputy chairman, Andrew further said that “The traditional sacrifice of the ram represents your willingness to submit to God’s will, even when it requires great personal sacrifice. It serves as a reminder to the Muslims to renew and strengthen their faith in God’s plan”

He particularly rejoices with the Muslim brothers in Bogoro and Bauchi State, who are celebrating the event and prays that they will celebrate in peace, love and harmony. 

Andrew urged the good people of the state to continue praying for governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir in order to continue with the Infrastructural development in the state.

The deputy chairman, Andrew said that”May the good Lord should accept your sacrifices and prayers, and shower His blessings upon the Muslim Ummah and Nigeria in general” he stated.
