Benue SEMA Boss, Iorpuu applauds presidency over award on grassroots development

The Nations News Nigeria gathered that the office of the Special Assistant to the President, recently honoured Iorpuu as one of the top 20 government appointees across states and local government areas in the Federation.
Speaking during the third summit award presentation and appeal fund event held at the college of health sciences auditorium, Benue State University Makurdi, Iorpuu noted that the award has exposed his significance role he has been playing in advancing grassroots development in Nigeria.
He said that the award has further inspired, motivated and admonished him to keep up his good deeds.
The SEMA boss, however attributed his success to the unwavering support of the Executive Governor of Benue State, Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, for entrusting him with responsibilities in his administration and dedicated the award to the Governor.
He vowed to be faithful, loyal and committed to the common goal and assured that he will continue to make efforts towards ensuring that the internally displaced persons IDPs across the state return to their respective ancestral homes.
Iorpuu, however disclosed that, already 70% of those who were displaced from communities in Guma LGA of State have willingly returned to homes to continue with their farming, while efforts are being put in place to ensure the return of other ones.
