Bauchi Records 70% Budget Execution For 2025 Fiscal Year

Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir of Bauchi State on Wednesday said that the State Government has recorded over 70% budget execution and accelerated development projects for the 2025 fiscal year.

The Governor, Bala said this during the State Executive Council (SEC) meeting, held at the Bauchi State Government House. 

He said that revenue generation has also exceeded initial projections, signaling a robust fiscal outlook and a promising economic future for the state.

The Governor also stressed the importance of strict budgetary discipline and prudent financial management in achieving the state’s development goals. 

He emphasized the critical need to bolster education, health, and agriculture sectors, recognizing these as pillars for sustainable growth and socio-economic advancement.

He further said that the government is actively pursuing strategic partnerships with international development agencies to leverage additional resources and technical expertise to accelerate key projects.

The governor said that the impressive budget performance and focused development agenda underscore Bauchi State Government’s unwavering commitment to delivering tangible improvements and fostering sustainable growth for its citizens.
