Bauchi LG Polls: popularity of PDP will mar chances of LP, APC, NNPP, others in Bogoro- Sumi

The Chairmanship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for Bogoro local government area of Bauchi State, survey Yakubu Lawi Sumi on Saturday promised for development, if elected.

Lawi Sumi disclosed this to newsmen immediately after coming out from the state party Secretariat, saying that PDP is a formidable party in Bogoro and Bauchi State.

He said that “Am confident in securing victory for the chairman seat of Bogoro local government area, by God grace”

He assured that his administration will satisfy the needs of the people for a better life, by providing water supply, sponsoring students in schools, skill acquisition, and taking good care of hospitals. Adding that “I will also focus my administration on upgrading the standard of education in the local government”

According to the PDP candidate, said that “Since farming have become our culture, we’ll be providing fertilizer timely so that food will be available for eating and to transport to other local government across the state”

As political activities heat up in the state, Lawi Sumi urged his fellow party members to work hard to ensure that the PDP candidates at all levels return elected. He pleaded with party members to sell the party manifestos to voters.

“I am the most competent, vigorous, and ready to lead the good people of my local government” he said.

He commended governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir of the state for good governance and achieving excellence in project implementation, which have endeared him into the hearts of the people of Bauchi as a trustworthy, benevolent and compassionate personality.

He further said that governor Bala has performed remarkably well in uplifting the socio-economic wellbeing of the people, massive infrastructural development of road construction, water supply, fighting of insecurity and also changing completely the structure of the state like Abuja.

Lawi urged all party supporters in Bogoro and the entire state to troop out enmasse to vote for the PDP in the local government elections scheduled for the 17th August, 2024, throughout the 20 Local Government Areas”, said.

The PDP candidate, Yakubu Lawi Sumi said that “The popularity of the PDP will mar the chances of the LP, APC, NNPP, and other political parties in Bogoro, Bauchi State and Nigeria.”
