The Publisher of The Nations News Nigeria, Evan. Aliuna Godwin at the weekend affirmed that when a man observes God’s standard in a marriage, there will always be a long unbroken love between the couples.
Aliuna who made this known in a statement signed and issued to newsmen in Abakaliki to mark his twelve years marriage anniversary, decried the high level of broken homes in Nigeria, and blamed the cause on the lack of maintaining God’s standard in marriages.
He called on couples in Nigeria to observe God and His rules/ standards in their marriages to avert the incessant divorce and unwarranted fights witnessed in many homes.
According to him: “We sincerely adore the Almighty God who has kept us going and growing stronger in love everyday. We are grateful to Him, because when we started 12 yrs ago on 1st Dec. 2012, it was like an impossible task, but because we laid our foundation in God, who is the author of marriages, we were able to surmount challenges.
“He renews our love for each other every morning because He is the author of our union. I therefore, call on Nigerian youths to stop rushing into unprepared marriages, that had led many to early graves.
