Adopt transformational leadership approach in tackling challenges – Ex-Buhari’s aide urges lawmakers

The personal assistant to the former President Muhammadu Buhari, Mr. Okoi Obono-Obla has tasked legislators both at the federal and state levels to adopt transformational leadership approach in tackling challenges facing the people.
Obono-Obla made this known while addressing stakeholders at his home town, Ugep, Yakurr LGA in Cross River State, during the disbursement of financial benefits to the indigent students of the area.
The Nations News Nigeria reports that the event was organized by Mr. Cyril Omini, a member of the state house of assembly, representing Yakurr 1 constituency.
It was gathered that the lawmaker, Omini equally donated a huge sum running into millions of naria to support business class, and assisted the needy members of his constituency.
According to Obono-Obla: “I have to commend the generosity, kindness, response, quality leadership and representation of which Cyril James Omini is giving our people. Since 1999 this constituency has not had this level of positive leadership.
In a remark, two stakeholders, former commissioner for lands and housing in the state, Mr. John Inyang, and Mr. Mathew Bassey also charged legislators to give back to their constituents
The former commissioner, Inyang further said that Nigeria needs responsive legislators that should carry the burden of his people at heart.
