Real reason why lecturer dies in sex romp with female student in Kogi – police

The Kogi state police command alongside the University management have revealed the real reason why a lecturer, Mr Olabode Abimbola Ibikinle, died while in sex romp with 200 level female student in the state.
The lecturer, late Ibikinle before his death was in the Department of Social Science Education at the Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba.
The Nations News learnt that Mr. Ibikinle
took a lady, Miss Glory Ojochegbe Samuel (24GE1034) of the same Department to a hotel at Anyigba, but allegedly died during lovemaking.
The lady was said to have alerted the hotel’s receptionist, when she noticed the unexpected development.
In the ensuing confusion, the lady and the receptionist was said to have rushed the embattled lecturer to a nearby hospital where he was confirmed dead.
Responding, the state police command’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), William Aya said the lady in the hotel sex drama with the lecturer has been detained in order to establish the real reason behind the incident.
He added that the lady reported the incident to the police station at Anyigba where she was first detained, before she was transfered to Lokoja.
“The lady, Miss Glory Ojochegbe Samuel’s case has been transferred to Lokoja police command. She is already in detention at the state police headquarters in Lokoja.
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) is already investigating the matter, before the know the next course of action to take,” said Aya.
Similarly, the management of Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba had expressed deep sorrow over the incident, stressing that it’s a tragic and disturbing occurrence that has understandably generated public concern and interest.
The University wishes to state that the circumstances surrounding the death of Mr. Olabode Abimbola Ibikunle is currently under investigation by the appropriate authorities.
“The school management expresses deep sorrow over the unfortunate passing of Mr. Olabode Abimbola Ibikunle, a lecturer in the Department of Social Science Education.
“His sudden demise, in the company of Miss Glory Ojochegbe Samuel (24GE1034) of the same Department is a tragic and disturbing occurrence,” said Yahaya Segun Alilu, Registrar of the institution in a statement on behalf of the management.
