2025 Inaugural Hajj flight to kick-off on Friday at Tinubu’s Airport, Minna

The inaugural flight of the 2025 Hajj exercise from Nigeria kicks-off this Friday, the 9th of  May at the Ahmed Bola Tinubu International Airport, Minna.

The Niger State Government will host the inaugural flight ceremony due to the pace the State Government has set in terms of the timely preparation and proper planning for the 2025 pilgrimage.

The Executive Secretary, Niger State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Sheikh Muhammad Awwal Aliyu disclosed this in a statement issued and signed by the Board’s Information Officer, Jibrin Usman Kodo and made available to newsmen in Minna, the Niger State capital.

The statement revealed that “UMZA Aviation Services who is responsible for the Airlifting of the Pilgrims in the State will on Friday 9th May, 2025 commence the Airlifting of the 2,881 registered Pilgrims from the State.” The statement said.

The statement added that the Board is in full swing, with officials working diligently to ensure that every aspect of the journey is meticulously planned.

According to the executive secretary, the Board remains focused on its goal of making this year’s Hajj Exercise a memorable and spiritually enriching experience for all pilgrims in the State.

He lauded the support and commitment of  Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago who has demonstrated true leadership in all facets.
