LG Chairman, Deputy Impeached In Bauchi

The Chairman of Shira local government area of Bauchi State, Abdullahi Ibrahim Beli and his deputy, Usman Adamu on Monday were impeached by the Councilors of the local government.
The Nations News Nigeria leant that the impeachment of the Shira local government chairman and his deputy was as a result of mismanagement of funds
Wali Adamu who is the councillors leader, disclosed this to newsmen in Bauchi, when he led other councillors to the State House of Assembly complex for notification as required by the law.

The councillors leader, Adamu cited an illegitimate and one-sided operation by the sacked chairman in discharging the affairs of the local Government despite one month warning.
The councillors leader said he would be the one in charge of Shira local Government affairs pending the decision of the state house of assembly.
During filing the report, the impeached Shira local government chairman and his deputy could not be reached in order to hear their own site.
