NSCDC parades suspected Cattle Rustlers in Adamawa

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Adamawa State Command, in collaboration with the Nigerian Army, has successfully intercepted a suspected syndicate of cattle rustlers terrorizing parts of the state.
The suspects include; Danladi Yakubu (35), Samson James (17), Usman Sule (30), and Usman Mohammed (18)—were apprehended at the Numan Bridge military checkpoint.
The Nations News Nigeria reports that they were allegedly involved in cattle rustling and were intercepted, while attempting to transport seven stolen cows to Gombe State using a white 18-seater Innoson bus with registration number SMK417AY.
A cache of charms, cutlasses, and dangerous weapons were also recovered from them by the operatives.
The command, in a statement signed by NSCDC DSC Nyako Hamidu Baba, also arrested another set of suspected cattle rustlers; Haruna Ibrahim (48), Muhammad Ali (20), Joshua Isa (24), and Usmanu Buba (41).
The suspects were caught conveying two cows in a Sienna bus with registration number GWA492HH, along the Numan-Jalingo Road.
The Command, however vowed to remain resolute in its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of residents.
“The public is assured of sustained efforts in combating crime and protecting lives and proper” it stated.
