Reps member, Ogah declares JAMB, WAEC, NECO registration free in his Constituency

The Federal House of Representatives member, Chinedu Ogah representing Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency on Thursday, approved free registration for all intending candidates of 2025 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination from his constituency.
Ogah, who is the Chairman, House Committee on Reformatory Institutions in the country, said the purpose of granting free JAMB, WAEC, NECO registration is to support governor Francis Nwifuru’s efforts in given the people of the state good governance and uplifting educational sector.
The lawmaker equally approved the registration of one thousand (1000) candidates for the 2025 West African Examination Council (WAEC) exercise and another one thousand (1000) candidates for the 2025 National Examination Council (NECO) examination registration.
He further approved a comprehensive free education program for two hundred (200) orphans and underprivileged secondary school students from Ikwo and Ezza South Local Governments.
Ogah who made this known while interacting with newsmen said he is responsible for all the educational expenses, including tuition, meals, accommodation, uniforms, textbooks, and boarding fees, to ensure that all the deserving students focus on their academic pursuits without financial burden.
On the side of WAEC registration, he ordered for a data collection from the thirty one wards in the constituency, with the inclusion of WAEC and state fees as a means of achieving success at the end of this scheme.

” I wish also to inform students from Ikwo/Ezza-South constituency who wish to write JAMB, that the registration is free”
” I am forming a committee that would liaise with Ebonyi State Commissioner for education, Onyebuchi Chima for collection of data and further payment of the fees ” Ogah said.
The Nations News Nigeria reports that Ogah constituted a committee to ensure the implementation of the educational scheme, with Rev. Fr. Ifeanyi Ogodo as the Chairman, while Emmanuel Aleke is the Co-Chairman.

Mr. Chika Uguru, and
Mrs. Chinelo Nwambe are members.
