2027: Reps member, Ogah distributes 5,000 bags of Fertilizer, #50m to Farmers

The House of Representatives member, Chinedu Ogah, representing Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency at the weekend distributed 5,000 bags of fertilisers, rice seedlings and N50 million to farmers and stakeholders across the constituency.

He said the distribution of the farm inputs and cash donations to farmers are aimed at supporting the good works of the Ebonyi State governor, Francis Nwifuru.

The empowerment programme, held at the Blessed Martins College of Nursing Science, Ohatekwe Amagu Ikwo in Ikwo Local Government Area.

The Nations News reports that the program attracted farmers’ associations, support groups, traditional leaders, elders and other stakeholders from the constituency.

Ogah said the support and enabling environment provided by Governor Nwifuru had contributed significantly to his performance in the National Assembly.

He pledged to continue supporting the policies and programmes of the Nwifuru’s administration in line with the People’s Charter of Needs agenda.

The Reps Member, Ogah , however commended the governor for creating an atmosphere that enables National Assembly members from Ebonyi State to deliver effective representation.

He assured governor Nwifuru of overwhelming support from the people of Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency for his re-election bid and all candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections.

In a remark, the Ebonyi State Chairman of the ruling All Progressives, APC, Stanley Emegha, described Ogah as a performing legislator, who according to him, has continued to distinguish himself through quality representation.

Emegha, represented by the party’s deputy State Chairman, Chinedu Nwali, said Ogah had become a model of effective representation through consistent empowerment programmes, attraction of critical constituency projects, scholarship interventions and regular interaction with his constituents.

He described the lawmaker as one of the party’s finest products and said the APC was proud of his achievements in office.

Emegha commended Ogah for supporting farmers with fertilisers, rice seedlings and financial assistance, noting that the intervention came at a crucial period in the farming season.

He urged constituents to continue supporting Ogah and other APC candidates to sustain the dividends of democracy in the constituency.

Also speaking, the Speaker of the Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Moses Ije Odunwa, applauded the lawmaker for his commitment to improving the welfare of his constituents through impactful projects and empowerment initiatives.

Odunwa expressed confidence that the people would re-elect Ogah in the forthcoming general election, especially for his outstanding performance.

He urged Ogah not to relent in providing quality representation that would further accelerate development in the constituency.
