He threatened that Adamawa will no longer be a safe haven for all criminal elements in the state.

Bande in a statement vowed that it will no longer be “business as usual” for vandals and scavengers in the state.

He urged those engaging in such activities to either repent or relocate from Adamawa state, emphasizing that the state will remain intolerant of criminal behavior.

“Adamawa is not a place for vandals or scavengers. We are fully committed to protecting the public and state’s assets and ensuring that criminal elements are brought to justice,” Bande said.

He however, applauded governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, for his zero-tolerance policy towards vandalism and scavenging, noting that the NSCDC has since deployed its operatives to enforce this policy.

Bande assured the people of the state that anyone found engaging in these unlawful activities will be held accountable.

He called on all well-meaning citizens of Adamawa to take ownership of critical national assets and infrastructure within their communities.

The state commandant equally urged the people to report any suspicious activities or attempts to destroy these assets to the nearest NSCDC office in their jurisdiction.
