APGA embarks on grassroot mobilization, vows to takeover Ebonyi in 2027

The Acting Chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) Ebonyi State, Ricky Okorouka, has restated that the party has commenced grassroot mobilization and reconciliation, geared towards emerging victorious ahead of the 2027 general election.
Okorouka made the assertion in Abakaliki, the state capital on Tuesday, during a meeting with stakeholders and party faithful.
He said that the new leadership of the party in the state has received recognition from both the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Directorate of State Services (DSS) and the Commissioner of Police.
“This is a new re-birth in APGA leadership, we are going to embark on grassroot mobilization of the citizen”
“APGA is looking for possible way of taking over the leadership of Ebonyi State come 2027, we are interested in re-integrating the party”
He extolled the leadership quality of the National Chairman of the party Chief Edozie Njoku since assumption of office.
“With the emergence of Chief Edozie Njoku, God has helped us to recover the party from political merchandise”
Various Stakeholders who bared their minds during the meeting including Mr Igwe Kalu, called for unity and massive mobilization of members.
“We are not building a new party, we are on harmonization mission and expansion of membership”
“We are starting from creation of awareness, we will give the All Progressive Congress (APC) (ruling party) a pure opposition leadership”
The meeting had in attendance the State Secretary of APGA Mr Igwe Kanis, party faithfuls and stakeholders from various local government areas.
It should be noted that a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja recently declared Chief Edozie Njoku, as the authentic National Chairman of APGA after a protracted legal battle.
