Demolition Of Illegal Shops Will Beautify Bauchi State -Kawule

The Bauchi State Commissioner for housing and environment Danladi Ahmed Kawule has said that demolition of illegal shops by the road sites will bring development in the state.
Kawule said that the demolition of the illegal shops will save people from car accident.
He made this known while interacting with newsmen shortly after in a meeting with few Commissioners at the executive council chambers, government house, Bauchi State.
The Commissioner noted further that some of the containers fixed by the road side are being used by thugs as hideout, and most times steal people properties which is very bad.
He further said that the demolition of the shops will also reduce congestion in the state capital.
He said: Bauchi State government demolished containers and illegal shops by the road sides in order to save people’s lives”
“All the shops that were pulled down by the state government are not fixed accordingly, because some of them are fixed close to water ways, electric poles, oil line and others”
In her own part, the Commissioner for land and survey, Hajiya Amina Mohammed Katagum said that after the demolition of the shops, state government directed them to create enough space in order to continue moving their businesses smoothly.
She said that mechanics village and timber sellers will be relocated to miri around Jos road, trailer park will be in Buzaye in Jos road, cow seller will be relocated close to the state house of Assembly road.
While traditional medicine and grains sellers will be around rail way road, furnitures and vegetables sellers around Alhaji Atiku Abubakar road and others.
The Commissioner for land and survey, Hajiya Amina Mohammed Katagum, however urged the people of the state to give the government support in its efforts to develop and beautify the state capital.
