‘We will never disappoint the People Of Biafra -MASSOB

The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, under the leadership of Uchenna Madu, at the weekend, vowed that it will not disappoint the people of Biafra.

The leadership of MASSOB, equally applauded the people of Biafra for their overwhelming adherence to the observation of the commemoration of 57 years anniversary of Biafra declaration by General Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu on 30th May, 1967.

The group made this known in a statement signed by the National Director of Information, Edison Samuel and issued to newsmen in Abakaliki, capital of Ebonyi State.

The leadership of MASSOB, however expressed gratitude for the willingness and conscious voluntary participation of the people of Biafra to the celebration of the Biafran falling heroes and heroines.

The statement reads in part: “We hail all the traders, civil service members, school operators, transporters, Keke operators, banks, corporate office services, market women, industrial company services and government workers in Biafra land for their full compliance in voluntarily abiding by the directives of MASSOB and other pro Biafra groups, in obeying and observing the sit at home exercise in honoring of Biafra gallant fallen heroes and heroine.

“We vowed that we shall remain unshakable, resolute, undeterred and unwavering on our journey to fully actualize and restore Biafra independence from Nigeria occupation.

“We shall continue to work and collaborate in brotherhood with other pro Biafra organizations in our journey to Biafra freedom” it stated.
