First Lady’s Visit: CP Hails Security Personnel for Seamless Coordination in Anambra

The Anambra State Commissioner of Police, CP Nnanna Oji Ama, has commended officers and men of the Command and personnel of sister security agencies for their professionalism, vigilance and seamless coordination during the visit of the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, to the state.

The First Lady’s visit to Anambra on Thursday was successfully conducted without any security breach, with the Commissioner attributing the hitch-free exercise to effective inter-agency collaboration and disciplined execution of operational responsibilities.

CP Oji Ama said the successful security arrangements were the product of deliberate coordination among the various security and safety agencies involved in the operation, including timely information-sharing, strategic deployment and effective communication.

He particularly praised personnel deployed for the assignment for maintaining a high level of alertness and professionalism throughout the visit, noting that the seamless working

relationship among the agencies was critical to safeguarding the First Lady, other dignitaries, participants and members of the public.

The Commissioner also commended the Government and people of Anambra State, community leaders and other stakeholders for their cooperation, peaceful disposition and orderly conduct during the high-profile visit.

According to him, the cooperation of residents and stakeholders complemented the efforts of security personnel and contributed significantly to the peaceful and successful outcome of the exercise.

The Commissioner expressed satisfaction with the overall security arrangements, describing the visit as hitch-free and a reflection of what could be achieved through effective collaboration among security agencies and other stakeholders.

He assured Ndi Anambra that the Command would sustain the existing level of operational synergy and proactive security coordination across the state.

CP Oji Ama further pledged to strengthen intelligence-led policing, inter-agency cooperation and strategic deployment to effectively safeguard lives and property and provide adequate security for critical public engagements across the state.

In a statement issued by the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the Commissioner reiterated the commitment of the Anambra Police Command to maintaining peace and security while working closely with sister agencies and relevant stakeholders.

He said the Command would continue to adopt proactive measures and intelligence-driven strategies to ensure the safety of residents, visitors and dignitaries in the state.
