Enugu Govt announces temporal closure of Ogui via Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium road

The Enugu State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure has notified the general public that a section of Ogui Road bordering the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium Main Bowl will be temporarily closed.

The state noted that the closure was to reduce vehicular traffic from Monday, 3rd August as part of the ongoing Remodeling and Rehabilitation Works.

The announcement was disclosed in a statement signed by the Public relations officer ministry of work and infrastructure Enugu State, Ngozi Ngene, which read thus:

“that the road will be closed intermittently as the work progresses and whenever construction activities require such temporary closure to ensure the safe execution of the project.

The temporary closure is necessary to ensure the safety of the public, motorists, pedestrians, construction personnel, and the surrounding environment throughout the execution of the project.

By this notice, motorists and other road users are advised to exercise caution, comply with all traffic diversion measures, obey road signs, and cooperate fully with traffic management personnel and other authorised officials at the project site.

The Government regrets any inconvenience this temporary traffic arrangement may cause and appreciates the understanding and cooperation of the public as it continues to provide quality infrastructure for the benefit of the people of Enugu State.
