2027: Tinubu Deserves Massive votes in S-East to Complete Infrastructure Projects — Nweze

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Engagement for the South-East, Chioma Nweze, has called on residents of the region to massively vote/ support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections to enable him complete ongoing infrastructure projects across the South-East.

Nweze made the call at the weekend shortly after voting at the APC Presidential election in Okposi community, Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.

According to her, the South-East has witnessed unprecedented federal presence under the Tinubu administration, noting that several developmental projects currently ongoing in the region have brought a sense of inclusion to the people.

“South-East people are happy to come out en masse to vote for Mr. President. This is the first time the South-East is having it this good,” she said.

Nweze stated that during previous administrations, the region suffered neglect in terms of federal infrastructure, but added that the current government had changed the narrative through road construction, bridge projects, solar-powered street lighting and educational support initiatives.

She cited the ongoing bridge project linking Afikpo in Ebonyi State with communities in Cross River State as one of the landmark projects being executed by the Federal Government.

“Even the bridge Afikpo people have been yearning for for over 100 years to connect them with Cross River is already being constructed,” she stated.

The presidential aide further commended the installation of solar street lights on highways in the South-East, saying the initiative would help address insecurity in the region.

She also highlighted developments in her community, including the construction of a new primary healthcare centre, new schools and ongoing road dualisation projects.

“We have a brand-new primary healthcare centre, four new schools and several other projects facilitated through Mr. President. Our road is being dualised with concrete, and there are plans for a flyover in the Cots area,” she said.

Nweze maintained that the administration’s interventions in education, including financial support for students, had contributed positively to the sector.

“For the first time in many years, there have been no strikes disrupting academic activities. Our children are in school, and students are receiving support funds to help with their education,” she added.

She urged the people of the South-East to support Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027, stressing that the President had demonstrated commitment to the development of the region and Nigeria at large.
