2027: Ubeyi stakeholders, Female coordinator tip Nwifuru as sole guber candidate

Thousands of stakeholders in Ubeyi development centre, Afikpo Local government area of Ebonyi State led by the female coordinator, Mrs. Aisha Nwachi have adopted governor Francis Nwifuru as the sole guber in the forthcoming 2027 election.

The Nations News reports that the female coordinator, Mrs. Nwachi is the first development centre coordinator in the state to stage an endorsement rally for the governor, Francis Nwifuru.

Speaking to newsmen shortly after a historic and grand expanded stakeholders meeting held at the Ubeyi development centre headquarters, Afikpo LGA, emphasized the needs why governor Nwifuru must be re-elected in 2027 guber polls.

According to her:  “I stand before you today with a deep sense of responsibility and conviction as the Coordinator of Ubeyi Development Centre Afikpo, to convey the collective voice of our people that Governor Nwifuru deserves a second term in office come 2027. 

“And this decision is populist and irreversible. Emphasizing that the governor, since assumption of office in 2023 has demonstrated capacity by delivering on his campaign promises.

“The governor deliberately anchored his administration on the People’s Charter of Needs Agenda, a visionary blueprint designed to, not only to address the real needs of the people, but to integrate the people in the decision, policy formation and making processes.

Mrs. Nwachi, however, vowed to continue to galvanize thousands of support from stakeholders, youths and women of the area, to make sure that the governor gets overwhelming votes in the forthcoming 2027 gubernatorial election.

She tasked the people to ignore all the noise made by opposition parties, adding that no opposition from anywhere can stop the governor Francis Nwifuru from emerging victorious in the 2027 election.

The female coordinator, Mrs Nwachi further enumerated her live touching projects in the development centre to include; the perimeter fencing, the leveraging of renewable energy, solar to power the Secretariat.

Others are; construction of gates, culverts, payments of bursary to students, financial support to women and the aged, 

Construction of market stalls in Enohia Itim, in Kpoghirikpo and Unwana Communities and too many other projects embarked upon within a limited space of time.

In a swift reaction, the lawmaker representing Afikpo North/ East constituency in Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Oluchukwu Ukie Ezeali said the endorsement of the governor for the second time in office is very apt considering his numerous achievements in the state.

“This is a well deserving endorsement of the governor Francis Nwifuru for the second term in office. 

“He has done well in all ramifications and deserved in all honesty to go for the second term in office.

” I judge the governor by what he said while we were with him during that campaign in 2023. 

“He promised to anchor his governance on the People’s charter of needs, and this, he has delivered more than he promised.

He didn’t write his manifesto to deceive the people but it’s part of what he wants to do for the people, and that he has done more than expected” he stated.
