‘God told me that Tinubu will win again in 2027 election- Umahi

The Minister of works, David Umahi on Thursday said that God revealed to him that the President,Un Bola Ahmed Tinubu will win the forthcoming 2027 presidential election in the country.

Umahi, tasked the leaders and prominent stakeholders of the South East region, especially the governor of Imo state, Hope Uzodimma to be bold to tell the citizens of South East the enormous achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the zone.

The works minister, David Umahi made this known while declaring open for use, the completed section of the Onitsha/ Enugu and Abakaliki federal highway, which took place in Enugu State.

He revealed the committed efforts of the South East governors to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second term re-election..

The statement reads in part “God already told me, you know I’m David, that the mighty hands of God are upon president Bola Tinubu. He will win again in 2027 general election.

“So, it is important that our people are strategic. We should be strategic. We will not mount the seat of presidency by foul language, by may-wish.

“Nobody will give it to us. We have to be strategic, and I will not stop telling Southeast, anything I tell you now, go and write it, because it will come to pass. 

“No matter who has the tickets, presidential tickets of other political parties, Southeast people must be strategic to support the president.

The marginalization we are talking about is over. For the first time, your son is minister of works. 

“South East has to understand the importance of being strategic in our decision, collective decision, and I want to plead with leaders of Southeast.

We need to be vocal about what the president is doing for us. We need to be very vocal. We need to begin to engage.

“You cannot say you are supporting the president when you cannot be bold to tell our people what the president is doing for us. No more marginalization.

“We never had service chiefs in the past administration, but this administration, we have two service chiefs, and the one now.

“So, all the marginalization we are talking about is over. It may not be 100 percent, but the president has just begun, and so we have to support him.

“Yes, Southeast deserve to be president, but in 2023, we give that right to South West to be president. We all met in Asaba.

“All the governors there, southern governors, and we say it is our turn. The militant will be over in 2027. 

“No matter what you, no matter what you say, about me, social media, you are wasting your time” he stated
