Obasanjo, IBB in close door meeting, brainstorm over 2027 polls

The former President Olusegun Obasanjo has  paid a private visit to the former military president General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida at his hilltop in Minna, Niger state capital.

Sources  at the Hilltop resident of the former Military President said the former leaders met behind close doors for some minutes 

The Source revealed that he was accompanied from Ahmed Bola Tinubu international Airport Minna by the government house protocol officials to the elder statesman’s residence.

The former president however received some opposition political party big wings recently in Abeokuta his hometown in Ogun State. 

He however spent about thirty minutes in a closed door meeting with Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida before his returned to the airport 

The visit, according to reliable sources, is not unconnected with pressing  national issues on the political situation in the country and the twenty twenty seven general elections in the country. 

No official statement  was however issued to that effect as at the time of filing this report.
