Tinubu names FUMS Azare after Late Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi

President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, on Saturday name the Federal University of health and medical sciences (FUMS) Azare after late Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi.
The President announced this during his condolence visit to Bauchi over the death of the renowned Islamic Scholar, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi.
Tinubu said that during his condolence visit to Bauchi State over the death of the renowned Islamic Scholar, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, who died at the old age of 102.
He described the death as a great national loss, noting that the Sheikh’s life embodied humility, service, and dedication.
He prayed for strength for the Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi’s family, the government, and the people of Bauchi State to bear the loss.

The President also thanked Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammad for his continued support to the family.
On his part, Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir of the State expressed his appreciation to the president for the condolence visit.
Governor Bala assured the president that Bauchi citizens are with the government of the Federation.
In Tinubu’s entourage were the speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, former speaker of the 8th Assembly, the governor’s of Plateau and Yobe states.
Others include; Minister’s of foreign affairs and health, former speaker of the 8th Assembly,Yakubu Dogara, senator Shehu Buba Umar and other top government officials.
