Yuletide: NSCDC warns miscreants, criminals to vacate Ebonyi 

….assures residents of safety

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Ebonyi state command, has warned miscreants  and criminal  elements  to stay away from the  state during  the Yuletide seasons 

The state commandant, Francis Nnadi made this known in a statement signed and issued to newsmen in Abakaliki by the Public relations officer, Emmanuella Ibeneme on Friday.

He assured residents that adequate security measures have been put in place to ensure a peaceful and hitch- free celebration.  

The commandant, Nnadi further disclosed that over 600 NSCDC personnel have been deployed across the state and other strategic locations  within the state.

The deployment, coordinated by the operations department, includes officers from the rapid response squad( RRS), female strike  squad.

Others include the crack team and all tactical teams, who will conduct  intensive patrols throughout the festive period.

Nnadi urged residents  to remain law- abiding and cooperate with security agencies, stressing that the command will deal decisively  with anyone attempting  to disrupt public peace.

The NSCDC ebonyi state command  wishes residents  a safe and joyous Yuletide.
