Polls: Gov. Bago tasks citizens to vote for APC in Saturday’s LG election

The Niger state governor Mohammed Umar Bago has called on the electorates to come out enmmass to vote for the ruling All Progressives Congress APC candidates during the November 1st 2025 local government areas election.
The self style Farmer Governor made the call while flagging off APC campaign for the local government areas elections at the trade fair complex in Minna.
He said the ruling party, APC comes out victorious in all the 25 chairmanship and 274 councillorship elections.
Governor Bago stressed that the federal government and Niger state are partnering to ensure the insecurity challenges confronting the state and Nigeria is overcome in no distance time in order to enhance peace, stability and development.

The governor noted that President Bola Tinubu has directed the state government to employ 1,000 youths in each ward across the state and also approved the construction of the Mokwa–Agaie–Lambata road, a major route connecting South and Northern Nigeria
The North Central All Progressives office APC chairman, Alhaji Mu’azu Bawa Rijau challenged the ruling party to carry everyone along devoid of discrimination to achieve unity and stability of the party to victory.
He maintained that president Bola Ahmed Tinubu and governor Mohammed Umar Bago will surely win their second term elections come 2027, considering the several decampees received by the APC in recent term hence the party has 25 governors, higher in the numbers of Senate and House of Representatives respectively.
Also, the Speaker of the Niger State House of Assembly and Director General of the State APC Campaign Council for the upcoming Local Government Council Election, Abdulmalik Mohammed Sarkin-Daji, expressed his gratitude to party faithful and the people of Niger State for their impressive turnout.
