2027: ‘PDP Will continue to hold on Governorship Seat In Bauchi – Group insists

A group loyal to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Bauchi state on Monday insisted that the party will continue to hold on governorship seat in the state.

The group insisted that PDP will win again, even after completing the second tenure of Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir, because of both human and infrastructural development recorded in the state.

The Kaura Force movement group said this during a press conference at the Nigeria Union of journalists (NUJ) led by the leader, Bauchi State commissioner of natural resources, Mohammad Bello Maiwada. Said that Bauchi continues to stand as one of Nigeria’s most politically stable and peaceful states.

Maiwada said that there party, PDP will continue ruling the state just because of the good leadership of Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir of the state.

The group said that One of the most remarkable characteristics of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed’s leadership is his commitment to inclusive governance. 

According to the group said that “In a country where politics sometimes becomes divided along ethnic, religious, or sectional lines, His Excellency has consistently demonstrated that leadership must unite rather than divide”

“Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed is widely recognized as a *tested statesman, experienced administrator, and courageous voice for democratic accountability in Nigeria. 

“His leadership philosophy is grounded in performance, fairness, and the belief that governance must deliver tangible improvements in the lives of citizens”

“Bauchi State today, the evidence of this leadership is clear and visible. Strategic infrastructure projects, strengthened public institutions, economic empowerment programs for youths and women, and deliberate investments in education, healthcare, and social development have transformed the trajectory of the state. 

They added that under his administration, Bauchi State has transitioned from years of limited development into a period defined by *renewed progress, stability, and growing national recognition”

“Whenever His Excellency decides to contest for any political office in the future, KAURA FORCE will undertake the responsibility of purchasing his nomination form and providing no less than Fifty percent (50%) of the state or national mobilization and campaign logistics required”

“At the same time, it is important to address the evolving political dynamics within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). 

“The internal disagreements currently affecting the party are the result of prolonged leadership disputes that ideally should have been resolved through dialogue, consensus, and institutional discipline”

The group believes firmly that democracy requires strong and vibrant opposition institutions. Any attempt to weaken opposition politics in Nigeria ultimately threatens democratic stability and national balance.

“If at any point His Excellency decides to take a political position regarding his party affiliation, that decision will remain entirely within his constitutional rights as a citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Such a decision would be guided by democratic principles and the broader national interest”

The group said that Bala Mohammed, remains focused on governance, development, and the welfare of the people.
