100-yrs after, Gov Bala appoints Ex-Army General as Monarch in Bauchi

The governor of Bauchi state, Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir has finally after one hundred years approved the appointment of the retired brigadier general, Marcus Koko Yake as the first class Gung Zaar of Zaar Chiefdom.
The appointment of the Zaar chiefdom, Yake, which was made known in a statement signed by the Secretary to the state Government, SSG, Aminu Hammayo, said that the actualization of Zaar Chiefdom is with good motive.
Hammayo urged the new king to work with other tribes, religion and groups for the development of the kingdom.

On his part, the newly appointed Gung Zaar, retired brigadier general, Marcus KokoYake expressed his appreciation to Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir of the State for founding him worthy to lead the good people of his area.
The new king was one term chief security adviser to Governor Bala which described the ceremony as the history event, promised to work with everybody in other the land to leave peacefully.
He also call on his people to continue praying for him other to rule them with the fear of God.
