  • Ex- PDP chairman, Adamu urges Muslims to pray for Nigeria’s unity , peace

    The former chairman of the People’s Democratic party, PDP, in Bogoro local government area of Bauchi State, Andarawus Adamu on Sunday urged Muslims to pray for the sustainability of peace and unity of Nigeria.

    He felicitated with the Muslim faithful as they celebrate the 2024 sallah Celebration across the country.

    In a press statement signed and made available to newsmen in Bauchi, said that it’s only by prayers that  people will leave peacefully with each other.

    Andarawus Adamu who is also the former councillor representing Gobbiya ward, Bogoro local government area of Bauchi State congratulate the Muslim Communities on the occasion of their 2024 Eid el-Kabir Sallah celebrations

    He said that “As you gear up to celebrate Eidul Kabir, I extend my heartfelt greetings and warm wishes to all Muslims in Bogoro, Bauchi State and Nigeria at whole. This blessed occasion reminds you of the values of sacrifice, endurance, and devotion to Allah”

    He urged them to pray for economic recovery, national security, and the well-being of every Nigerian. Adding that collective prayers and efforts will pave the way for a brighter and more prosperous future for all people.

    According to the former Party chairman, “The Eid el-Kabir is held to commemorate Prophet Ibrahim’s devotion to Allah (SWT) and his readiness to sacrifice his son, Ismail. At the very point of sacrifice, Allah (SWT) replaced Ismail with a ram, which was slaughtered in place of his son”

    Adding that “This command from Allah (SWT) was a test of Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness and commitment to obey his Lord’s command, without question. Therefore, Eid el- Kabir means the festival of sacrifice”

    “I pray that the sacrifices of the Muslims be handsomely rewarded by Allah (SWT). May the spirits lof sacrifice, cordial neighbourliness and selflessness be our guide as we celebrate this Sallah. May Allah accept,good deeds and alleviate your sufferings and forgive your transgressions”

    He call on the Muslim Communities to use the occasion to remember the sacrifice and obedience of Prophet Ibrahim to the will of Allah and always submit themselves to the will of the Almighty and in service to humanity. 

    The former Party chairman of Bogoro, Honorable Andarawus Adamu appealed to Nigerians, irrespective of their religion, to devote their prayers during the Eid el-Kabir festival to Allah (SWT) to bring to an end the numerous social and economic challenges facing the country and restore unity among the citizenry.

    “As you celebrate Eid El Kabir, may this joyous occasion bring peace, prosperity, and happiness to your homes. Let’s embrace the spirit of sacrifice, unity, and compassion. Wishing you all a blessed and fulfilling Eid.

  • Buachi: Gov Bala urges clergymen to pray more for Nigeria, leaders to overcome economic challenges

    The Governor of Bauchi State senator, Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir at the weekend has urged clergymen to pray more for Nigeria and it’s leaders to have fear of God, and to overcome economic challenges.

    He equally donated a bus to one, Salihu Abdullahi who returned a huge lost bag of money to the owner in the state.

    The Nations News Nigeria reports that the bus was donated to him by the governor to startup business and to encourage other young people to be honest and act the way Abdullahi has done.

    Senator Abdulkadir made this known during a special preaching at Gwallaga Jumu’at Mosque organized by Jama’atu Izalatul Bid’a wa Iqamatus Sunnah in Bauchi.

    According to the governor, “I must also commend Salisu Abdulhadi, who showed great honesty by returning a lost bag of money belonging to one of the attendees at the event”

    He also promised to help religious teachers spread Islamic knowledge because it helps to keep the country peaceful and prosperous.

    The governor, Abdulkadir also charged them to engage in prayers for the good of Nigeria and for the leaders to have the fear of God, as they lead the country out of the myriad of challenges militating against progress.

    The governor said that his administration will continue to support all religious groups for continuous development, and that the preaching session came at a time when Nigeria needed Allah’s intervention, given the current economic challenges.
