Nigerians lament, as pure water producers set to sell per sachet, N100

Mix reaction has trailed the planned increase in the prices of pure water sachet, to #100 per sachet by producers.

The Nations News Nigeria, reports that the producers of pure Water, is set to increase the prices of pure Water sachets to N100 per sachet as production costs hit record high.

Investigation revealed that the hike in the production cost of pure water maybe artificial, while few producers cashed into the economic challenges facing the country to become rich over night.

Sources who spoke on the the planned increase of pure water sachet to #100 per sachets, said that some pure water sachet producers are intentionally increasing the prices of the pure water, as a way to become rich over night to the detriment of Nigerians.

One of the sources who gave his name as avocado said: “From N20 to hundred naira, we are our own problem in this country, forget that our leaders are doing their own.

“If you want to buy anything, they will tell you the increase is because of dollar, now dollar don drop, prices still dey go up 9ja which way.

Another, Kanayo said: “Water go soon be like whiskey. You go enter club, order for Eve water, they go off light for you.

Also, Uchenna said: “Most of them treat nothing in the borehole water they just pass PVC pipe inside and start filling the nylon with water and sealed because they fully know NAFDAC are not very concerned about them” he stated
