How we restored peace, recruited teachers in Katsina – Gov. Radda

The Katsina State Governor, Mr. Dikko Umaru Radda has narrated the efforts put in place by his administration to restore total peace and order in the state.

Governor Radda made this known while addressing a mammoth crowds at the 4 set of combined convocation lecture of the Abubakar Tafawa-Balewa University, ATBU, that took place at the theater hall, Yelwa campus in Bauchi state.

The Katsina state governor, Umaru Radda who was the chairman of the convocation lecture ceremony, narrated that the university has produced worthy and quality leaders in Nigeria, including himself and others who are governors.

Radda who was represented by Alhaji Bala Dikko Kofar Sauri, further noted that his administration within few months in office has restored peace, upgraded the standard of education, recruited teachers and embarked on aggressive infrastructural development in the state.

He however, reiterated his committed efforts to partner the Bauchi state government to ensure that the programs of the Abubakar Tafawa-Balewa University, ATBU, is supported, just as he said that the varsity will continue to remain the best.

Governor Radda also applauded the efforts of the vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Muhammad Ahmad Abdul’Azeez and the entire management of the school for making the convocation lecture to become a reality.
