Gov. Otu re-appoints Archbishop, Isong as DG of Anti-Tax Agency in C’River

The governor of Cross River, Bassey Edet Otu has re-appointed the National Publicity Secretary PFN and president of Christian Central Chapel International, Archbishop Emmah Gospel Isong, as director general of the state Anti-Tax Agency.
Otu made the pronouncement during the elevation ceremony of the cleric from the rank of Bishop to Archbishop at the weekend in Càlabar.
Isong served the state in the capacity of Anti-Tax Agency during the administration of immediate past state governor, Ben Ayade and left the office after the Ayade’s administration elapsed.
At the event tagged 5- Star celebration/ installation service which also marks Isong’s sixty birthday, held in Càlabar, Gov. Otu stated that Isong is one preacher of the gospel that speak the truth to dam all consequences even in the face of tribulation.
“God has used you to bless the Cross River State. If it were in the army, Emmah could have become a general.if it were to be in politics you could have become a governor.
“God has used you to bless the state. We are very proud of you”.Otu maintained.
Otu stated that God has used Isong to drag a lot of women to the side of God .
“You have inspired so many young people. Any investment made in the house of God is not wasted.
He said that with Isong, most of the complains heard by the government against harassment by illegal tax agents would be handled by Isong just like he did during the previous administration.
