Gov. Abdulkadir decries mismanagement of hospital equipments in Buachi

The governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir has said that the state specialist hospital has suffered lots of mismanagement Of equipments.

The governor, made this known during the commissioning of the four (4) diagnosis and dialysis machine at the hospital premises in Bauchi.

He noted that some hospital equipments have been taken away and missing like hospital equipments, television, client fans, chairs and other important things that will be motivating people to take good care of their patients.

He further said that everything have been mismanaged in the hospital, which is very bad attitudes and behaviors.

The governor, Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir said that he will work hard to bring back the glory of the hospital.

“I want Bauchi specialist to become one of the best hospital in the northern Nigeria, because I will not take second position”

Adding that ” I leaved Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja to come and build Bauchi State better not to destroy and I didn’t come back to the state to make money but to bring development in the state”

“I will not surrender this hospital to anybody, but I will be coming here by myself for supervision if available”

The governor, senator Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir urged the doctors to maintain all the machines accordingly in order to be providing services to the good people of Bauchi State and neighboring state’s.

He thanked the good people of the state for giving him chance to be their governor, promised to continue working tirelessly to bring development in health sector.

In his speech, the chief medical director (CMD) of the hospital, professor Abdulkareem Garba Mairiga said that with the arrival of governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir, the specialist hospital automatically change because of his intervention.

Mairiga promised on behalf of his colleagues to take good care of the machines for the development of Bauchi citizens and other people from the zone.
