Anambra market boss, Onunkwo partners Soludo in the fight against insecurity

The chairman of the Electrical Dealers International market, Obosi, Idemili North Local Government Area, Anambra State, Mr. Johnbosco Onunkwo, has vowed to partner the governor, Prof. Charles Soludo in the fight against insecurity in the state.

The Nations News Nigeria reports that Onunkwo procured a security vehicle, increased the numerical strength of the security operatives in the market, with the need to avert any breakdown of laws and order in the market.

Presenting the vehicle and security men to the President General, PG, Anambra State Amalgamated Traders’ Association, ASMATA, Chief Humphrey Anuna, at the ASMATA Secretariat along Modebe road, Onitsha, for blessing, Onunkwo said it was part of his security contribution for a safe Anambra State.

Responding, the ASMATA PG expressed satisfaction with the efforts of the market chairman especially on security and urged him to sustain the tempo adding that Governor Soludo is doing everything humanly possible to make the state a better place to live in.

The Electrical market chairman told the PG that, “Our aim is to fight security rapes within the market in other to help our government led by Prof. Soludo, in fighting insecurity in Anambra state because it is one of the most challenges we have in the state and I believe with the effort of our governor, it will soon be a thing of the past.

“Since he mounted the seat of governorship in Anambra state he is doing very well to make sure that anything concerning insecurity ends, by doing so we emulate his foot steps by supporting him also to make sure that any angle where the leaders work or represent you, we need to do the same thing in other to make Anambra state a liveable state and also to help our customers and traders in the market to do their business without any challenges of insecurity.

“That’s what prompted us, the leaders of the association of the market to have an agreement to put it to the real meaning, let the state, world and other people around emulate us because if every market can do same it will help the government to achieve more concerning insecurity.

“I will like to use this opportunity to appreciate our Governor for all his efforts in the state concerning security, good road, education and so many things he has achieved. We really appreciate him and pray that Almighty God will keep on protecting him to achieve his aim in Anambra state.

“I extend my warmest appreciation to Special Adviser to Governor Soludo on Trade and Markets, Hon. Evarist Uba, who is our head/ leader in Anambra state markets and our able President General, PG, of ASMATA, Chief Humphrey Anuna, onwa oranile.

” He is doing great things since he assumed office as the Pesident General of ASMATA, traders and government are rejoicing because all of us are seeing the positive effect of good work he is doing,” he stated.
