Ebonyi governor decries slow pace of work at Ezzillo -Iyionu- Ezzagu road

The governor of Ebonyi State, Francis Nwifuru has decried the slow pace of work at the Ezzillo -Iyionu-Ezzagu road in Ishielu Local Government Area.

Nwifuru who spoke during the inspection of the project in Ishielu LGA, however, ordered the contractor handling the Ezzillo -Iyionu-Ezzagu road to expedite action and ensure completion of the project before the rainy season.

The governor, however, expressed satisfaction with the quality of work  so far done in the area .

According to him: ” I am very grateful that you appreciate the work. I have seen  what the contractor is doing, the quality is good.

“So it gladdens my heart, my intention before visiting the site was to come and quarrel but when I got here I was happy.

” Though the pace is slow but the contractor has assured he will mobilize more materials and machines to the site to ensure speedy completion of the road project”

The Governor commended the people of the area for their support which he said contributed to the progress of work on the site.
