The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nentawe Yilwatda, has formally unveiled the Nigeria Youth Federation for Tinubu 2027 (NYF), charging the group to intensify mobilisation of young Nigerians to participate massively in the party’s ongoing e-registration exercise.

The unveiling took place at the APC National Secretariat, Abuja on Wednesday with the party’s top leadership in attendance, including the Deputy National Chairman (North), Ali Bukar Dalori, and the Deputy National Secretary, Abdulkarim A. Kana, SAN.

Speaking at the event, Yilwatda described the youth as the backbone of the party’s future and a critical driver of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

“The APC recognises the strategic importance of the youth demographic in sustaining democracy and deepening party structures across the country,” Yilwatda said.

“We expect the Nigeria Youth Federation for Tinubu 2027 to take the message of registration, participation and ownership of the party to young people in every community.”

He assured the group of the National Working Committee’s readiness to collaborate closely with them, noting that effective youth mobilisation would strengthen the APC ahead of future electoral contests.

“The National Working Committee will work hand in hand with this organisation to ensure that the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu resonates with young Nigerians at the grassroots, in both urban and rural areas,” the APC chairman added.

Also speaking, the Deputy National Chairman (North), Ali Bukar Dalori, emphasised that youth engagement remained central to the party’s long-term stability.

“When young people are properly mobilised and given a sense of belonging, the party becomes stronger and more united,” Dalori said, urging the federation to align its activities with the party’s constitution and objectives.

In his remarks, the Deputy National Secretary, Abdulkarim A. Kana, SAN, commended the initiative, describing it as timely and strategic. “This is the kind of structured engagement the party needs to consolidate its support base and prepare for the future,” Kana stated.

Earlier, the National Coordinator of the Nigeria Youth Federation for Tinubu 2027, Shuaibu Sani, said the visit to the APC National Secretariat was to formally intimate the party leadership of the group’s existence and its readiness to work with the APC at all levels.

“We are here to officially present ourselves to the National Chairman and members of the National Working Committee,” Sani said. “Our mission is to work with the party from the ward level to the national level to ensure the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.”

The highlight of the event was the formal presentation of the Nigeria Youth Federation for Tinubu 2027 working documents to the APC leadership, symbolising the group’s readiness to operate within the party’s framework.
