Employment – People With Disability Begs For Consideration In Bauchi

The Bauchi State officials of the people living with disability, has begged government to consider them in the ongoing 5,669 employment process to be shared across 20 LGAs of the State.

Haruna who led the delegation to the office of the Bogoro local government Chairman, Yakubu Lawi Sumi, said that considering them will really help in solving many of their problems. 

He assured the local government Chairman that if really considered, they will contribute immensely for the development of the Bogoro, Bauchi State and Nigeria at large. 

The leader of the delegation expressed their appreciation to the council boss for showing concern toward persons with disabilities in the local government.

He lauded the state governor, senator Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir for his continuous support and attention to persons with special needs across the state.

Also applauded the Governor for always reaching out to persons with disabilities during festive periods such as Christmas and Sallah, describing the gestures as clear evidence of inclusive leadership. 

He offered prayers, asking Almighty God to continue to guide and bless the Governor with wisdom and success.

In his response, the council boss, Yakubu Lawi Sumi appreciate them for the visitation, said that his administration will continue to support their activities.

He assured them that their requests would be given due consideration in line with the administration’s vision for equitable development and social justice.

The council boss promised that by the grace of God, they will do all it take in other to consider them in the process.
