Bauchi Monarch tasks citizens to shun grievances, work for unity, progress

The newly appointed Gung Zaar of Zaar Chiefdom, retired brigadier general Marcus Koko Yake, at the weekend urged people to put a way grievances, to work for the unity and progress of the land. 

The monarch who made this known at a meeting, held at the Church of Christ in Nations COCIN headquarters, Bauchi, noted further that the land need total reconciliation.

He tasked the people to work on the unity, peace and progress of the Zaar, adding that the people should embrace peace and forgiveness ,as a means of fostering lasting development within the newly recognized Chiefdom.

He further said that the actualization of the Zaar Chiefdom was a product of years of struggle, sacrifice, and divine favor, and therefore, it should serve as a unifying factor rather than a source of division.

The monarch urged people to set aside past grievances, work in harmony, and focus on building a stronger, more prosperous Zaar nation that would stand as a model of unity and progress in Bauchi State and beyond.

He reminded traditional and community leaders to uphold the values of integrity, justice, and inclusiveness while ensuring that every Zaar son and daughter feels a sense of belonging in the new dispensation.
