Guber polls: Tinubu, Uzodinma, others vow to reclaim Anambra for APC

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the weekend, the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Nentawe Yilwatda and the governor of Imo state, Hope Uzodinma at the weekend vow to reclaim Anambra state for the ruling party.
They ordered the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA leadership in Anambra State to start packing out from the government house, adding that the ruling party will take over governance in the state, come 8th, November 2025.
Tinubu represented by the Senate President, God’s will Akpabio made this known during campaign rally held at All Saints Anglican Church Cathedral field, along Awka road, Onitsha, Anambra state.
Addressing a mammoth crowd of APC faithful, Tinubu vowed that come November 8 gubernatorial election, APC will take over the state sequel to the strategic importance of the state to Nigeria.

He noted further that, his presence in Anambra is to let the people know that they can’t work alone. From today pray that victory is yours, that you will not be alone again. Igbo shall never work alone again.
“I created Southeast Development Commission, Igbos are the most Enterprising people in the world, anywhere you go to, you find the Igbo, I am an in-law to the Igbo people,” Akpabio revealed.
Responding, the National chairman, Yilwatda, said that, only few days remained for All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA to end its existence in the state adding that APC can not afford to lose the state to APGA come the election day.
“The days are numbered for APGA to be uprooted and cease to reign in Anambra State. Business is dying in the state and we need somebody to revive it.insecurity is increasing, the roads are bad.
” We don’t have adopted son in Anambra APC, what we have is only one biological son and that is Nicholas Ukachukwu.
“APC is the only party we have in Nigeria, others are counterfeit. So cast your votes for Ukachukwu as next governor of the state and Uche Ekwunife, as Deputy Governor, the votes will count,” Yilwatda stated.
Also Governor of Imo state, Hope Uzodinma, earlier in his speech.revealed that APC is not a violent party and advised party members to shun violence stating that nobody will stop them from voting come November 8 gubernatorial election.
“We are here to protect democracy, APC wishes you well, go about, vote, promote, support APC, APC is a large family, don’t fear,” he advised.
Highlight on the occasion was presentation of party flag to Ukachukwu and Ekwunife as APC governorship and deputy Governorship candidates respectively.
