2027: Benue LG passes vote of confidence on senate minority Leader, Moro

The People’s Democratic Party(PDP) in Ado local government area of Benue State, in a unanimous decision and affirmation, passed a vote of confidence on Senator Patrick Abba Moro for his steadfast commitment to the wellbeing of the party and endorsed him for continuity in 2027.
The decision was taken during the successful expanded executive and caucus meeting of the party in the local government held at the weekend in Igumale, headquarters of Ado local government area.
The caucus members also passed a vote of confidence on former governor Samuel Ortom, the leader of PDP in the state, for his pragmatic leadership and sacrifices in ensuring the stabilisation of the party in the state.
Addressing the meeting, Ado PDP chairman, comrade Abraham Ochoga commended the caucus members for their loyalty, commitment and determination towards repositioning of the party in Ado.

He noted that Ado local government remains a stronghold of PDP in the State, assuring that members were still intact despite the little skirmishes at the national level.
He enjoined the party faithfuls to remain united, proactive and work hard to ensure that the party become a more formidable opposition force that will bounce back to power in 2027 in the State.
Ochoga, while dissociating Ado PDP from the African Democratic Congress(ADC) and any coalition movement, urges members to be wary of those elements desperately prowling looking for those to cajole into their world of uncertainty.
The chairman noted that PDP as a party at this moment, has closed ranks and place the interest of the party far above individual members and urges ward executives to seriously monitor those leaving the party to ensure that they tender their resignations, saying the leadership of the party would not hesitate to expel anyone find engaging in anti party activities.
On his part, the immediate past Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Chief Dr. Ekpe Ogbu, encourage members to continue to demonstrate their unwavering commitment towards 2027.
He maintained that the PDP umbrella is large enough to accommodate everyone, calling on all those who have gone straying in the name of coalition movement to retract their steps to avoid suffering, saying that PDP remains the viable platform in Ado to offer political opportunities to anyone and bring good governance as well as development to Ado.
The former Ado council chairman however appealed to members of the party to continue to support Senator Moro and work towards his reelection come 2027 as he continues to extend his quality representation to people of Ado.
The State PDP Assistant Publicity Secretary, Clement Ogbu maintained that the party led by Adaji Ezekiel is now better positioned in the State and remain the only party with the interest of the masses and ordinary Nigerians at heart.
